WE donate a portion of all of our services to one of our designated charities each month. WE are expert event planners - ensuring that every facet of your unique celebration runs smoothly. WE also are committed to paying this joy forward.

Hi! I'm Jessie! I am a life long Chicagoan who lives with my partner, newly teenage daughter and 3 rescue dogs in Logan Square. I am passionate about giving back to others and having a positive impact on our city.
For the last 2 decades, I have focused on planning unique, fun and engaging large group activities, corporate gatherings, fundraisers, personal celebrations and more. I would consider myself incredibly creative and a bit type A which allows my attention to detail shine through every event I am a part of. I love bringing events to life with creative design and unique details that are personal to each client and couple.
I also have a deep history of active involvement with many Chicago nonprofit organizations. I have served as a regular volunteer, director and founder. I created WE EVENTS because I want people to realize that giving back can be fun and easy.

I take zero salary the first year and instead donate it all to charity.
I pivot back to full and partial event planning. I finally figure out a work/life balance. Having fun, doing good and living my best creative life with the best clients.
My business is just starting to take off and then the pandemic hits. I pivot to balloons and backdrops and then I pivot to event activations. I'm working 24/7 and starting to lose my mind.
Jason, my partner tells me to do something I love that incorporates using my creativity and love of community. So I take a huge risk and start an event planning business with a charitable side. I start with crafts and fundraisers.
After 5 years of staying home with my daughter I decide it's time for my next adventure. I got a job working at a startup. 3 months later I leave that toxic job crying and feeling like staying home with a kid ruined my career.
